Where will the Jobfair for Refugees and Foreign Employees take place?

Why should I visit the jobfair?
You will have the opportunity to get in touch with representatives of more than 200 companies located in Berlin and Brandenburg in order to find an apprenticeship or a job. Additionally you will receive a lot of information on how to start your new career.
How can I get a ticket for the jobfair?
Free Tickets are available from December 2018 at www.jobboerse-estrel.com. Please choose a timeslot which indicates when you want to enter. You will not be admitted into the jobfair if you arrive before or after your timeslot.
What do the timeslots mean for me?
In order to reduce waiting times and overcrowding we have fixed timeslots for admittance to the fair. You can only enter during the timeslot you have chosen. After you have entered the event you may stay as long as you wish. All participants are kindly asked to leave the fair after its official closing time at 4 pm.
How much is the admission for the jobfair?
The admission is free of charge.
Do I have a possibility to copy my documents?
You will be able to copy necessary documents on-site without any charge.
Do I need an application photo?
It's not obligatory to have an application photo for your CV. Most German employers appreciate a personal layout of your CV including an authentic photo. During the jobfair you have the possibility to get your own application photos without any charge.
Do I need to get a ticket even if it is free of charge?
Yes, a ticket is absolutely needed. The past events have been booked-out before the events started. Due to security reasons it is not possible to participate without a valid ticket.
Can I get tickets on-site?
No, there will be no tickets on-site available.
Which language skills should I have?
Kindly note that most employers indicate a working knowledge of German and / or English as a requirement for any future employment. Thus, participation in the job fair is recommended only for those who already have such language skills (minimum B1 Level).
Which documents should I bring to the jobfair?
Please bring your admission ticket (printed or on your mobile phone). Please note, inviting letter, flyers or emails are not accepted for admission. Additionally you may bring your application (cover letter, CV, certificates etc.). Click here for further information in our video tutorials.
How can I prepare myself for the jobfair?
You will find all exhibitors including their vacancies on our website. Thus, you have the possibility to prepare your application according to the different company profiles. Please keep in mind to bring your personal documents and inform about the different job profiles.
I have a ticket but I cannot come to the jobfair. What can I do?
The total amount of tickets is strictly limited - in case you cannot visit the jobfair we will be thankful if you could return your ticket to us by email to firstname.lastname@example.org. We will give your ticket to another person who is interested in visiting the jobfair.
Is there a Dress code at the jobfair?
Like in so many other areas of life - first impressions count. We recommend proper clothes you are feeling comfortable with. Click here for further information in our video tutorials.
Can I bring my children?
It is easier to hold a conversation or job interview without any disturbance. We recommend to ask family members or friends to look after your children. If you do not have this opportunity, of course you can bring your children to the jobfair. Please note - we do not have any childcare available.

Please note, photo/filming recording take place during the event. By purchasing a ticket you agree that the photo/filming recording maybe taken of you can be used within the reporting of the event and for advertising purposes.
